Wow Wednesday!

So I was thinking about the Twilight Series and how I really need to get the next few books and how I don't have money and then this idea popped into my head: ONLINE LIBRARY. I thought, you know, I'll bet there is a library out there that will send me a book. So I checked and sure enough, there is! http://www.bookswim.com is like Netflix in that there are no late fees and no shipping costs, you sign up, make a list of books, and they send them to you, you read them, send them back, and they send you more. http://www.booksfree.com is also another one. I thought it was brilliant because I'm not one to read a book more than once except for the scriptures, I just feel like its redundant, so this is perfect for me. After some searching, I found some coupon codes as well :) http://www.retailmenot.com/view/bookswim.com and http://www.retailmenot.com/booksfree.com

So I thought this was such a great idea and then I thought, "Wow, its Wednesday!"

(*please note that a lot of the bookswim coupons did not work, I think booksfree is probably much less expensive.) And if you do decide to do booksfree, enter in my email as a referral: littleangelbaby@mac.com :)

AND PLEASE LIST IN COMMENTS ANY RECOMMENDED BOOKS YOU THINK I SHOULD READ. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT ELSE TO GET EXCEPT FOR THE TWILIGHT SERIES, SO ANY RECOMMENDATIONS ARE APPRECIATED, JUST MAKE SURE ITS A BOOK I WON'T BE ABLE TO PUT DOWN CAUSE ITS SO GOOD :)

Cool sites! One other site that I love is FREE! It is netlibrary.com. To sign up I think your local library has to participate. You download ebooks or audio books for free. You have a temporary license and can download books on your computer or ipod. They rarely have the latest things available, but they do have lots of books. I just checked and they do not have Twilight.

I like the Narnia Series...Also, Alexander McCall Smith is a wonderful author and I just finished the first 6 books of his "#1 Ladies Detective Agency" series. I was unexpectedly delighted by this series. It was wonderful.

Great book idea, that's something I would like too! Thanks for your comments, it's fun to stay in contact with friends. And, very exciting about the move to Texas. Steve and I lived in Garland for a summer, and really enjoyed it. I loved the people and our ward a lot. I'm sure you will fit in great.

As far as a fun book , The Great and Terrible is a fun LDS fiction series. The author is Chris Stewart. I flew thru these books, there are three or four out, and I'm anxiously awaiting the next book.

By the way, my favorite all time book is "The Pride of the Peacock" by Victoria Holt. It's a spell binder for me. Lynn Gardner has a Jewel/ Espionage series that I love as well. A darling espionage/ mystery series is Mrs. Pollifax by Dorothy Gilman. Hearts of the Children series (sorry can't remember the author) is great as well.

so you don't know me - at all - but I'm friends w/your sis Andi and I'm a notorious blog lurker who likes to read the blogs listed on my friends sites and such - and I just had to say THANK YOU! for finding these. I am a read-a-holic and I spend so much money on books that I only read once, this will save me a ton of dough!
