Crazy Hair Day

I totally forgot to post this, so sorry, life has been crazy. But for Crazy Hair Day at school I decided to go all out and Brad came up with this idea, so two hours later, she definitely unofficially won the Crazy Hair Award, I came to lunch and pretty much everyone stared at her and said things like "Oh, hers is definitely the craziest". Pipe Cleaners have so many purposes!!! The pictures really don't do it justice, but it looked really really cool.

Easter Time at the Brockbanks

Well this year we decided to step it up a little and actually do our parental duty and let the Easter Bunny come to our home this year instead of Grandma (formerly known as the Easter Bunny). So Easter morning came and we woke up a little later than hoped, the girls were in the tub, we had planned beforehand of course, and went to the store the night before at around 9:00 PM to find their last two baskets and candy, can you believe they still weren't on clearance!? Anyway, so I told Brad to go hide the baskets as Brad's family tradition would suggest. He hid one upstairs under the sink in our guest bathroom and one in the dryer. He went upstairs to inform the girls of their exciting surprise and task of finding it, and it went something like this...

Brad-"Hey Girls, its Easter Morning, do you know what that means?"

Girls-"No, its Easter?"

Brad-"Yeah, and the Easter Bunny came!!!"

Girls-"Really? Why?"

Brad-"To bring you something"

Girls-"Did he hide eggs?"

Brad-"No, he brought you a basket."

Girls-"Why?"

Brad-"Because its Easter!"

Girls-"Hmm, where is it?"

Brad-"I think he hid the baskets, you'd better go look for them!"

Girls-"Where?"

Brad-"Just go look!"

So the girls finally got the hang of it as we gave them some obvious hints and found their baskets and now they fight over who ate whose candy. Obviously we have slacked in the Easter Department previously, well, at least they aren't teenagers, now is better than later, right?

Abbieisms

Abbie learned something new from her sister, many know as Finder's Keepers Losers Weepers... well, everytime Abbie finds something she says, "Keepers Finders." I just think that's so cute.

Another thing she's been saying is "Ohhh, but that'll take FOREVER!" The other day she was sent to her room because she was being very grumpy. She called to me from her room in a very sad voice, "Mom, when can I come out?" I called out, "When you can be happy." And her response? Yep, you guessed it, "Ohhhh, but that'll take FOREVER!"
