So Tori is watching Ni Hao Kai Lan on Nick Jr, and Rintoo is upset, and he keeps saying, "Its not fair!" And Tori is yelling at the TV, "Life isn't fair! Life isn't fair Rintoo!" LOL, I thought, oh man, that is definitely blog worthy. At least its sinking in, right?

Primary Chorister-Please Help!
So i got called to be the Primary Chorister, and now I need advice. I need ideas. I can sing, I can lead, but I need ideas on how to keep the kids entertained. Singing time I think is the longest part of primary and I get to do a one man show! I think it'll be fun, but I need ideas. If you have any, please send them my way. Any websites are helpful, or any activities to help learn the songs. Thanks!

Dallas 101
Yesterday was wonderful and exhausting. We had a great day at church, I got called to be the primary chorister, and then we got home. I made some yummy food and decided to give half of it to a new member of our ward who just moved in, I think he's divorced, not sure, but he didn't really have much, so we brought that over. I saw the spot where the rape happened last week I think it was, he lived right next to it and it was a pretty rough neighborhood. I felt better cause where I live is much more open and not as scary. Anyway, so then we decided to walk the Katy Trail. For those who live in Utah, its like the Provo Trail kinda, its probably longer, and most of the time its much wider, it was two separate lanes, one for bikes, one for pedestrians. So we were doing really well with the kids and then I realized it was about 7:30, we had walked a long ways, and had just as long to walk back, so it was time to turn around. So I convinced Brad it was time BEFORE the kids freak out. And sure enough, about 5 minutes later, my sweet little Abbie turns into the freak-out little Abbie and she gets upset because I won't carry her. So she starts hitting the chain link fence with her hand as she's stomping. Brad tells her not to, that she'll get hurt, and low and behold, she gets hurt. She screams like her hand just got chopped off, and I have to carry her back the whole way. I guess she got what she wanted, huh? So then we went to the park for some reason, like the trail wasn't enough. But we had a good time there. There are tons of parks in Dallas, really nice ones. They are everywhere. People are REALLY health conscious here, everyone exercises, eats right, etc. Anyway, it was a great day with the family. I'm very blessed, and Sundays are quickly becoming my favorite day because Brad is home all day and we get to be together.
