Tagging myself

I think its time for another tag... so here we go.

You and Your Sweetheart...

*What are your names? My real name is Angela, but I've only gone by Angela for about 1 year in 2nd grade (some of my cousins and grandma still call me that after all these years just because of that one darn year) I tried going by Angela in college one time, it lasted about a week. I'm Angel, that's who I am. Brad's name is Bradley, I call him Bradley when I'm mad or talking sweet, kinda weird, but its true. Sometimes I call him Dad in front of the girls.

*How long have you been together? Well... together? Whats the definition? Brad and I met at a Stake Dance when I was about 15 or so. We've been friends ever since, we dated officially for about 2 weeks but it was awkward so I dumped him. He was the first person I held hands with and that was just weird :) We became really best friends my senior year and when he left on his mission, we wrote letters on his mission, I Dear-Johned him on his mission (he needed the experience ;) ) and then about a month later we agreed to get married :) It was so meant to be, it was just a matter of timing. We've been married for 6 years, 9 months... and counting. If you count since we met, its been about 12 years now. :)

*How long did you date? Depends on what you consider "dating" I could say 6 years... or I could say two months... depends. He got home March 13th or something like that, and we got married May 11th.

*How old are you? I'm 27, and Brad is now 28.

*Who eats more? Brad definitely eats more than I do... sometimes the girls eat more than I do :)

*Who said I love you first? DEFINITELY BRAD. He proposed two or three times before the actual real proposal. One of our dates we went to Applebees and he asked me what I did that day, I told him all the I cooked and cleaned and he interrupted me and said, "Marry Me!" I still consider it a proposal :) I said "I Love You" the day he came home from his mission.

*Who is taller? Brad: 5'10 1/2" (had to add the 1/2 :) and I'm 5' 4".

*Who can sing better? I'm going to say both of us the same but I think Brad's kinda out of training so my real answer is me. :)

*Who is smarter? Depends on the area. I'm definitely smarter when it comes to book smarts and academically. I mean, I graduated with a 3.9... lets just say that brad didn't do as well... at all... but when it comes to creative problem solving, brain storming, and real life smarts, he's definitely got me beat. Who needs school, right? :)

*Who does the laundry? I do, for sure.

*Who pays the bills? I do, for sure.

*Who sleeps on the right side? It totally depends on the direction the room is facing, where the door is, where the window is, and how stubborn Brad is. I used to say, Brad always has to be by the door, but he started being ornery about it and now he tells me where I sleep. Kinda weird that he's so particular about it, its probably cause he wants the girls to wake me up , not him :) Who knows, I'm just glad I get to sleep by him. And to be honest, both of us are usually spread across the whole bed, pushing eachother from the middle all night.

*Who mows the lawn? When we do have one, Brad DEFINITELY does.

*Who cooks dinner? I usually do. Sometimes if I really don't want to and Brad is STARVING, he'll make himself some Mac and Cheese. Otherwise, its definitely me... that or good ol' Wendys.

*Who is more stubborn? That's a toss up. I'm probably going to say Me. I think I would win in a stubborn contest with Brad, hands down.

*Who kissed who first? Oh, this is a good one. So our first kiss was at the airport the day he came home. Before you freak out, he was released, we went back to the airport to pick up a friend of mine and we were there about an hour early. Anyway, so Brad got out of the car, opened my door, and he goes, "You ready?" I chuckled and thought to myself, "Wow, that was the most romantic thing to say. (sarcastic)" So, we had our first kiss right outside the car, and I slipped him the tongue :) I'm not shy to admit :)

*Who asked who out first? Brad did, he took me on my first date.

*Who proposed? Brad did, it was great. Rose Pedals, candles, and I think about 12 dozen roses or so. He wrote this poem, and then played this song on our baby grand for me, then he tried to kneel down and couldn't cause he was up against a wall (classic), so he took me into this other room and started proposing, I said Yes, then he continued on proposing with his little speech, I just started laughing and said, "I said yes!" It was great.

*Who has more friends? Well... let me check... according to facebook, Brad is up by 1.
Come on you guys, I need your help, I need more friends on facebook! He's giving me the hardest time, its quite the contest. I was up by like 15 at one point, but then he added all my new friends, and its just been back and forth since then.

*Who is more sensitive? Brad, definitely. Not sure if its the Adderall, but he definitely is.

*Who has more siblings? I do, I have 4, brad has 3.

*Who wears the pants? Hmmm... I'll say Brad. Just for kicks :)

*Who do you want to tag? Andi, Esther, Olivia

I must look SO pretty!

So Tori took a shower the other day by herself. She thought she was all grown up. She had me make it hot (not warm, but hot) and she stayed in there for at least 30 minutes. She kept calling Abbie from the shower, "Abbie, come here..." and then she'd ask her a silly question and then say, "Okay." I was a little confused by her behavior. The best was when she said, "Abbie, come here... do my eyes look funny?" I thought to myself, "Now, why would her eyes look funny?" And then it dawned on me. She learned how to take a shower from me. She knows when I come out of the shower, I have mascara all over my eyes and face, that's just what happens when you take a shower, right? And then after about 25 minutes, I said, "Tori, you about done? Did you use soap?" Tori: "No, not yet." She had been standing there for 25 minutes and she hadn't even used soap yet! So, I told her to do that, and about 5 minutes later insisted she come out. She called Abbie as she got out and said, "I must look SO pretty now." I just laughed. I thought, "Wow, the shower is a magical thing, isn't it."

WHAT A DAY!

Okay, so it was the craziest day in the world yesterday. We woke up, Brad had a meeting at 10:30, so we drove from Layton to Pleasant Grove, I waited for an hour for him at the meeting, then we went to IHOP for his birthday brunch. We enjoyed a nice meal, and tried to decide what to do next. We went to Provo to Mark's (Brad's brother) house real quick to take the dogs out (thankfully). It was about 2:00 by now. Then we jumped in the car and decided to just drive till we figure out what to do. We went to Platos Closet to look for some jeans for Brad and I. Then we were going to go to the dinosaur museum, but decided to go to Cabellas to do some fake shooting with their fake rifles. It was about 44 degrees when we left Platos in Orem. About 60 seconds before we hit the exit for Cabellas (At Thanksgiving Point/ Point of the Mountain) we all the sudden were engulfed in this most amazing blizzard I have ever been in. We could hardly see any cars in front of us, and the windows were all iced over from blowing snow. We decided to hang out at Cabellas for a while. We were there for about an hour and a half and decided to go somewhere else like a movie theater or mall to wait out the storm. We only got as far as the first road out before we realized there is no way we are going anywhere. It was almost four by now. SO... we went back. We waited at Cabellas until about 7:30. I thought, "WOW, I'm stranded at a Cabellas! Great for Brad, horrible for me!" For those of you who don't know Cabella's, it is the ultimate man store with outdoor/hunting/gun stuff and a nice cafe thankfully. Anyway, so 7:30, It was dark by now and the storm seemed to let up a little bit, so we thought we could get home. We got one road farther and realized just how crazy it was. Mark didn't bring a coat, he had a short sleeved shirt on, and Brad did not have gloves. The boys got out and helped a lady who was spinning out at an intersection by pushing her car through. Then we got in the car and they realized she won't make it up the hill, so they got back up and we towed her home. Then Brad got into survival crisis mode, and we decided that while we go wherever we can get to (extreme pandemonium). We then towed out about 7 people who were stuck. This is all on SR 92 (Alpine highway). We left at 7:30, and we were on that road for over 3 hours. There was a lady that gave birth in her car! And four other very pregnant ladies within a mile that the cops were worried were going to go into labor (its Utah, huh). So we saw a car that was off the road, we went to help, they had been there for 5 hours in the cold, out of gas, slid off the road, and the only person that stopped was a cop who told them to wait. So... they jumped into the car with us. Another lady about 50 feet away also jumped into the car with us and we helped tow two other people while they were in the car, one being a TOW TRUCK! That broke our rope. We had to stop at a gas station because I drank too much hot chocolate at Cabellas and the store was almost only standing room, people all stranded. It was about 10:00 pm, and there were kids in their school uniforms still! The reason for the delay on Alpine Highway apparently is there was a school bus full of kids stuck in the snow from school getting out 6 hours earlier. Kids peed their pants in the bus! So we finally got the nice stranded people home, Brad went to Walmart to restock a tow rope, some gloves, and a flashlight and went back to help (it was about 10:45-11:00 pm). The police by then had closed the road and wouldn't let him by, saying they got it all taken care of, they are taking all the people to the church off that road and they are all taken care of. So it was a useless trip to Walmart. Anyway, so while I'm waiting, I hear about another lady (heard this on the radio) that gave birth in her car right off the freeway. There were 8 foot snow drifts in Lehi. Eagle Mountain was shut off from being able to go there. Redwood Road and SR 73 (Lehi Main and further) was closed. People were staying the night at the local Smiths Grocery Store and Youth Family Dental! The girls preschool is right in that block and they cancelled it this morning. So... for Brad's birthday, he got to go to IHOP, Cabellas, and spent most of the day helping people, towing their cars, and getting frostbite on his poor hands, he was so cold! Here are some pictures I got off KSL.com that barely display what happened last night. If I showed you an accurate picture, all you would see is white. The craziest snow storm I have EVER been in my ENTIRE life, ALL 27 years!!! I forgot to mention, we got home at 1:00 am this morning. Storm started at 3:00 pm. It was CRAZY!
