Soup Recipes?

I'm looking for yummy soup recipes. Brad and I like thicker/chowder type soups, so if anyone has any, if you could post them, that'd be so great! I have Jeni's amazing Chicken Noodle Soup recipe, and my Taco Soup Recipe, but I'd love for ya'll :) to share any recipes you have. Brad and I are going to try to change some eating habits, and eat healthier and work out every morning, so we'll see how it goes, thanks!

Have you ever tried split pea soup? Very thick & I love it!

1 lb split peas (found by the beans)
1 chopped onion (small med or large:)
1 lg can chicken broth
Cubed Ham (as much or little as you want.)
2-3 lg Carrots, peeled and sliced (optional)
Salt and Pepper to taste

Soak peas in a crockpot over night. Rinse them in the morning. Add all other ingredients and then add enough water to cover the peas. Cook on high or low (depending on how soon you want it done) and check throughout the day to make sure there is enough water. Salt and pepper to taste after they have cooked.

This is also great with white beans. Probably exclude the carrots with white beans, though.

carrots
1 large can of tomatoes
1 can of green beans
1 can of corn /or you can use fresh or frozen for the cans

After the hamburger is browned just throw in all the other ingredients and then add enough water to make it like soup, and boil then turn down to simmer till the potatoes are tender. And actually I usually add the corn and green beans after the other veggies are cooked. Here's my favorite soup recipe. I have never liked any other soup with hamburger in it, but I love this stuff.

Veggie Burger Soup

3/4 lb Hamburger browned
1 onion chopped and browned with hamburger
2 large potatoes cut in chunks
3-4 carrots cut up or baby
