Home Sweet Home, Phew!

Our new home in Saratoga Springs.
Holy cow, this has been a crazy week!
I'll try to name a few things that happened.
First of all, we lost our keys to the Honda, could not find them for the life, and that was right before we were moving. I had them last as far as Brad and I remembered, so I was a wreck because I knew I put them where they went and they weren't there. We found them five days later in a compartment in the Denali, Brad had put them there on accident. Yeah, it was him. At least it wasn't me, Phew!

Then I did my whole self tanner thing and took my ring off. You know where that is going. Abbie came to play while I was on the computer, and she decided it was a very pretty ring, and deserved to be worn... and then carelessly thrown wherever she decides. To my dismay, I went back to put it on and it was gone. When I asked her if she had it she said, "yes, it was me." When asked where it was she said, "I don't know." Like it wasn't a big deal. I was a little frustrated to say the least. Luckily I found it later on that day under a chair with the rest of her clothes in the living room, PHEW!!!

Then on our way here there was a huge rain storm and we had to stop. Well, we stopped in Beaver only to find out we had a flat tire and two bald tires, that set us back a good amount, so fun. We were grateful we didn't wreck or get stuck on the freeway though, Phew!

Then when we got here in Saratoga, the water wasn't on, luckily I am married to a handyman. He turned it on. But then there wasn't any warm water. We went three days without any warm water. Yuk, we were stinky! Then Brad figured out that our gas wasn't on, so we finally got some warm water, phew!

Oh, and then we ran out of gas in over 100 degree weather. That was a blast, what was even funner was our fuel pump going out. That set us back $850! Are you kidding me? No Phew there, nope, that sucked.

But you know what? After all these crazy events all in one week, I'm SO grateful to be here. I live next to a police officer lady, in a beautiful neighborhood, with lots of REALLY nice people, and I'm grateful we are all alive and well. The Lord is certainly watching over us!

Cute house! Sorry about all the yucky stuff that happened to you this week. I thought bad stuff only happenend in 3's, not 10's! Don't you fret, though, because it happens to us all! Do I really need to break out into song? Okay! "The sun will come out tomorrow, bet your bottom..." "Bet your bottom?"
