As If two kids aren't enough

Well, to be honest, I'm staring at my blog trying to figure out what else to blog about. Nothing all that exciting here. We went on the trolley last night, that was cold and loud and not all that fun, but the kids had a great time. So as I sat here staring at my blog I started thinking about what I'm doing today, I'm kinda bored to be honest. Not a whole lot to do but housework, and who wants to do that, I mean, really. So then I remembered my recent idea and task to accomplish, we'll see how well it goes. I'm going to toilet train our cat. Yeah, as the subject title says, "As if two kids aren't enough"... now I'm going to try training my cat. I think I'll stop there and not try my dog, although I have seen it done, but I'm sick and tired of kitty litter, and I like my cat right now to not get rid of her, so I decided that I'm going to try to train her to go in the toilet. I'm on step three today. The first two steps were a piece a' cake. All I had to do was move the kitty litter next to the toilet, and then on top of the toilet. That took about 3 days, she had no problem with that. The third step is the tricky one and I'm kinda annoyed today. I had to put a bowl under the toilet seat that is full of kitty litter so that she actually puts her paws on the seat while still using kitty litter. Then you slowly take the kitty litter away little by little, then put water in the bowl, then take the bowl away and VOILA! Well, she is a smart cat, but in a cat way, not a people way. She knows that if she meows enough I'll get annoyed and give up, but NO, I WILL NOT GIVE UP! I will conquer this battle, and I will WIN!

So, she's locked in the bathroom today until she decides that the kitty litter in the toilet (in the bowl) looks good enough to use, then I'll let her out. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm hoping it won't be too hard. The main thing I want to avoid is her peeing on my carpet. She's done it before in previous houses, but not this house, so I'm hoping she won't start. That's why she's in the bathroom until she goes.

Anyway, have a good day, thanks for reading, can you tell I'm bored? I should be cleaning *sigh*
