Pumpkin Carving 2007

Okay, so we did our little annual pumpkin carving last night and had a BLAST! I'm going to include a little slideshow because there are so many fun pictures, and my husband is SO talented with pumpkin carving, but I had to write a note real quick. Tori wanted to do a pumpkin carriage for her barbie, so her Uncle Mark helped her carve it. He made her take out the guts. Because we needed it long instead of tall, he cut a hole on the side and on the top so he could move the stem. As Tori took out the guts, he kept putting them back in through the other hole (you can see him in the slideshow). It took her about five minutes of taking out the same handful before she realized what he was doing, and we got pictures of all the fun "ewww" pictures! So fun! Mark's friend did a Transformer Pumpkin, Brad did Napolean Dynamite, I did the Candy Corn Pumpkin (it's falling apart now, but it looked great last night!), and Mark and Tori did the Carriage Pumpkin with a door that opens!.

Holy Smokes! That was great! I can't believe that Napolean one was a pumpkin...I thought it was just a cool shot you found online to be funny! Loved the Transformer one as well-your kids are so lucky to have such fun parents! =)

Wow Esther, that was quick commenting! Yeah, Brad did that all with his power tools and talented hand. I love the "Pretty much the best pumpkin ever", isn't that so funny!

Those were the coolest pumpkins I have ever seen! How long did it take to do the candy corn one? And... why in the world would you waste so many candy corn when you could have eaten them all!!!

Now I feel lame for not even buying any pumpkins this year. Too late for me though. :)

I love you, baby!
